When we learn Sirah,
we also study Jurisprudence
We also study the faith, morals
Because many things in religion are
related to the History of the Prophet SAW
So, studying the History of the Apostle is
the same as studying religion
Just like when you study hadith or fiqh
Just like you study the faith
Sirah is a separate branch of science
The scholars gave special attention
to the History of the Prophet SAW
Second, why do we study
History of the Apostle?
Because Allah SWT told us
to make the Apostle our role model
And Allah tells us to love the
Prophet (PBUH) more than anyone else
Allah says
لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ
<i>There has certainly been for you
in the Messenger of Allah an excellent role model </i>
It turned out that Allah said
that the Prophet was a role model
How do we emulate the Prophet
if we do not know his life journey?
So, to emulate the Prophet, we must
study the History of the Prophet SAW
