Kind: captions Language: en I'm Neil deGrasse Tyson your host Nova ScienceNOW did you know that there are more stars in the universe and there are grains of sand in all the world's beaches did you know that more than half the oxygen we breathe it's produced by life in the ocean did you know that while we're always told that Sun rises in the east and sets in the west in fact throughout the year it will rise and sad at different points along the horizon did you know you know who wanted to measure the length of a coastline you can't from high above it looks simple but as you zoom in the coastline becomes more and more intricate you begin to see the shapes of peninsulas and jetties and boulders zoom in some more you get the perimeters of grains of sand did you know molecules are so small that there are more molecules of water in a cup of order then there are cups of water in all the world's ocean did you know that Nova ScienceNOW is on this summer right here on PBS
