One of the nice things about working
with monkeys is that it takes some of
the pressure off me and my partner to
actually have some children anytime soon
because my mother gets to enjoy the
monkeys as her grandchildren. She's seen
them on pictures and on webcams and so
on and she often asks about, you know,
how they are. She has printed up
pictures of them on her desk at work and
she sends them little marshmallows for
Easter.
I think she's just very sad that she
doesn't have actual grandchildren, but
she definitely does enjoy the monkeys
and enjoys that I work with them.
