this is a once in a life time once in a
generation Once In A History of the
United States project this is about
fundamentally rebuilding an entire
downtown and creating a new city within
a
city iconic buildings they are symbolis
to us that we have something to be proud
of that we've invested and
sacrificed so that we and our children
uh children's children will have a the
kind of world we want for
[Music]
them the simplest buildings in the world
are the ones that tend to become iconic
and remembered for their countries that
they're in it's the marker in the sky of
the most important building down here
which is no height as the memorial
[Music]
itself I had this image of these two
voids in the Hudson River that notion of
water flowing in of sort of marking the
passage of time yet that absence remains
these voids never fill out
