X goes down amid a massive coordinated
dos attack Tesla vehicles and
dealerships continue being attacked and
Tesla stock plummets as many Express
their disdain for Elon all while Elon is
filing patents for human telepathy and
continuing to push the Forefront of
Technology Tech as a whole continues to
rip proving that like Skynet it can't be
stopped or reasoned with AI Manus prove
AI can build AI objects prove they can
make us feel and AI drives another nail
in the Hollywood's coffin meanwhile John
mimer gives another hot take on how the
Russia Ukraine war will end and DC
begins dismantling the BLM Plaza as the
federal government threatens to withhold
funding Drew this is the most disruptive
moment in history and Elon is giving
everybody a lightning rod for their
frustrations this is crazy it's getting
scary at this point because if it's what
if it's not the dealership it's X if
it's not X it's attacks on the cyber
it's he's getting hit all on all
different directions all differents
let's just start at the top um he posted
this recently why are liberals so
violent leg Legacy Media propaganda is a
major part of the problem and this is in
response to Kofi Times news said I saw a
cybert track in my city for the first
time yesterday it made my blood boil I
had to resist the urge to follow the guy
into the mall parking lot and kick the
[ __ ] out of him and that's how I feel
about supporting Elon I'm not kidding it
crossed my mind and then I thought about
it just putting a rock through the
windshield while I was charging at limid
mall maybe next time and then somebody
in Oregon actually did that they threw
Molotov cocktails inside a uh Tesla
dealership and then seven days after
that they sprayed seven shots through
the window luckily nobody was hurt
except a bunch of cyber trucks um there
this has to be connected right this
rhetoric and these attacks you you've
got The Perfect Storm of a moment of
disruption that is so fast and so
profound that it provokes a level of
anxiety even in people like me I love
love technology actually like change but
there is a rate of change that is hard
for people to metabolize to be able to
look into the future even three or four
years and feel like okay I know where
we're going to be provides a tremendous
amount of comfort to people when you
look into to the Future six months and
you can't imagine where things are going
to be because you constantly have things
coming across your feed that are each
one is so spectacular that they almost
become just White Noise it just
happening so fast and the fact that Elon
stepped into the political sphere which
is already one of the things the three
things I say never to talk about you've
got him at the Nexus of that
anxiety-provoking
change as well as taking a very
aggressive political stance in a way
that is like designed to provoke maximum
insecurity with him being you know with
the chainsaw and like I'm going to go in
and just cut all these
departments people are just not here for
it and then on top of some people I
should say and then on top of that you
have this Left Right divide where people
are racing away from each other from a
value systems perspective as fast
certainly in my life if I as I have seen
people race away from each
other so if you have these very limbic
brain emotional responses to what's
happening you need somewhere to place
the frustration you need a way to act
out this is like you think about why do
humans yell when they get frustrated you
have this incredibly strong urge to make
physical your frustration this is why or
your emotion that's a better way to say
it we have an extreme drive to make
physical whatever strong emotion we're
feeling this is why when people are
nervous they will Jitter their body
around they'll shake when you're um
angry or scared you're going to yell
you're going to verbalize we just have
this need to externalize it and so um
one thing we haven't talked about I
don't know if you have queued up later
there was also an armed um as salant at
the White House who was shot uh trying
to breach security so people just have
this need to externalize so whether it's
vandalizing um Tesla vehicles you're
seeing more people spray paint on them
key them in fact keying I know for sure
I think people have been spray painting
them as well but finding some way to
express their frustration on the
physical edifice of the thing that they
dislike uh I saw this a lot as the green
movement really started to pick up steam
you would see people spitting on Hummers
and defacing Hummers and so it's the
same impulse that people have but Elon
gives them a singular individual yeah to
Target and go after and that's where um
it gets worrisome that representation of
all those things yeah because now one
he's got to worry about his life
legitimately a guy that has a ton of
security around him all the time
in a way that previously at that level
you would have only seen with presidents
um so seeing a private citizen have to
guard up like this is pretty crazy yeah
so first they were protesting against do
and then just as we talked about the
Tesla stores and Tesla vehicles are now
being attacked and then this morning
there was a massive Cyber attack against
X he said um there's was and still is a
master Cyber attack against X we get
attacked every day but this one was done
with a lot of resources either a large
coordinated group indoor country is
involved and then when they came down to
it there was a DS alert that retweeted
this they said that to anyone that was
wondering why the X Twitter was down it
was under attacked by darkstorm team
method DS date March 10 2025 so a online
team has took credit for it so or
somebody's applying credit are they
saying they are darkstorm or they just
are claiming that they know they claim
they're claiming they know darkstorm
team did it um and then this is through
kind of their screenshots I'm assuming
this is like 4 chain or something like
that so
it's it it seems to me that to your
point the frustration has to get channed
toward them but is this the right way to
funnel this energy because I feel like
hurting Elon Musk is not going to stop
all of these things that people are
feeling it's not going to cure the
income divide it's not going to make
houses more affordable it's not going to
help the price of eggs so why this
attack to Elon is it just misplaced
frustration like where do you think it's
coming from it's on a scale of violence
works so this is one of those makes me
very sad but once you map the world
under real politique meaning the strong
will do as they will the weak will
suffer as they must people get to
violence when they no longer feel that
they're empowered from a voice
perspective the pen being mightier than
the sword uh but humans always and
forever have fallen back on violence
when they're not able to reason their
way to the outcome that they want humans
push sufficiently will always resort to
violence so you're obviously going to
see uh the most unstable be the ones
that attack first but as it gains steam
you're going to find more and more
people feel more they feel
disenfranchised to the point where
violence seems like the only reasonable
option this always makes me go back to
and it's interesting because of what's
happening in South Africa but the person
who in his recent history anyway that I
admire the most is Nelson Mandela and to
the point where after reading oh I
actually did not mean to do this I'm
wearing a shirt from the comic book that
I wrote after reading um his book long
walk to Freedom called neon future
written years ago before AI was such a
real thing but the whole idea was that
he clung to this thing he called the
Third Way
and when you the the whole idea of the
Third Way is you can either be oppressed
you can become the oppressor or you can
find a harmonious way of peace to find a
reconciled solution and so he stays in
prison for 28 years people are coming to
him the whole time from the new youth L
movements and they're saying we need to
be violent and he said' look I always
keep violence as an option in my back
pocket but we're not there yet and we
have this opportunity to reconcile to
bring people together and I was just
like I honestly I I know myself well
enough I could not sit in prison for 28
years to make a
point so he is clearly somebody that has
um an internal fortitude that I lack I
mean it's just it it is mindboggling and
so when he came out and was like oh I
want people that are white on my
security team and people were like what
like that's crazy why would you do that
so anyway he was just driving trying to
drive people towards this Middle Way
neon future was about I think a world
that is still coming where you've got
technology and the people that embrace
it as fast as you can Elon Musk and
people that think this level of
disruption and change is sent by the
devil to destroy us there's going to
have to to be a negotiation between
those two worlds and I think this is
part of what we're living in right now
both on a political and technological
front it it is because those two waves
are hitting and creating this rogue wave
of frustration fear that this Rogue Wave
is getting so big and I don't know where
it stops I don't know if the violence
just continues to escalate on a
political level if not at the level of
the continued attacks on um elon's
companies but certainly at the political
level and you can't have the right and
the left flying away from each other at
this rate for much longer before this
becomes a problem this is why Ray Delio
has been talking about Civil War for so
long I think it is very S Fair to say
that America is in a cold Civil War the
two sides really have disdain for each
other um so how does this all play out
something either brings us back together
we get a legendary figure like anelsa
Mandela who can paint a picture of unity
but just like South Africa is now spun
out of control now that that era has
died off it obviously did not achieve
the ends that it was hoping to achieve
otherwise the frustrations would have
dissipated was that because he died and
just wasn't able to carry things across
the Finish Line I don't know I haven't
looked closely enough at it but that is
always my fear that you need a level of
suffering that is so total that people
give up and we'll get to this in a
minute with Mir shimer because that's
basically what he's saying is there's
just going to be so much suffering
people will just quit um but this is the
idea behind total Victory so all of this
started because violence is always an
option and unfortunately violence works
and when it's carried to the point where
there is a clear Undisputed winner like
what you're seeing between Israel and
Palestine um it works man and so it just
breaks people so what you're seeing are
the early spillovers into violence as an
option and it is materializing because
just like you mentioned earlier there
was attack on the white house this
weekend let's hear the update from Sky
News the US secret service has shot a
man near the White House in Washington
DC that's according to our colleagues at
NBC News in the states it happened
shortly after midnight after an armed
confrontation with law enforcement uh
according to the Secret Service there
they say local police had reported what
they described as a suicidal individual
who had possibly travel to Washington DC
from in Indiana they uh later located a
vehicle and spotted a person on foot who
matched the description uh they then
brandished a firearm the report says an
armed confrontation ensued during which
shots were fired by Secret Service
Personnel they've confirmed the man was
shot and has been taken to hospital and
this all happened on the intersection of
17th Street and F Street Northwest which
is near the White House in Washington DC
so just to reiterate the the US secret
service has shot a man near the White
House in Washington DC uh he has
subsequently been taken to hospital all
right it'll be very interesting to hear
what his state of Mo stated motives are
it'll be very interesting to see if he's
mentally ill when you're doing something
like that it's uncoordinated it's a
one-off guy this stuff is usually tied
to mental illness um obviously you can
put a tin foil hat on and say that these
people are being pushed by mainstream
media that's you're that narrative is
already coming out that mainstream
narrative uh mainstream media has been
pushing A Narrative of trump as Hitler
and so on and so forth for so long that
people feel like certain people that are
probably more prone to a psychic break
or mental illness whatever feel pushed
that they have to do something that they
have a moral obligation to do something
and so they get themselves into this
desperate state where it's like there's
no reason to live we're going to hell in
a hand basket I at least need to do my
part to try to stop this um
again another thing that sort of time
tested uh that people will do that um so
it just becomes a question of does that
keep gaining steam or do we find a way
to begin backing off all of this stuff
uh right now I certainly don't see any
indication that we're going to begin
backing off of this I think there was a
brief moment where
um the left felt rudderless enough and
the victory was decisive enough that
people were optimistic that the left
would start elevating leaders that are
more Centrist in nature M I don't know
that we see evidence of that um there
might be a little bit of evidence of
that in the recent promotion of um the
Cana the new Canadian Prime Minister who
is at least at early reports more
Centrist if we see something similar in
the US if a John fedman or somebody like
that begins gaining more prominence and
people start feeling like okay like this
is a move to the center
the problem is Trump is so populist that
uh if you get the flip of Biden pulling
us all to the left and now if Trump just
Yanks us all to the right uh you'll get
that pendulum swing that people were
talking about where you'll start hearing
people on the right saying I didn't
leave the right the right left me uh and
so I don't know we'll see how that ends
up playing out but that's the antenna
that everybody should have up is okay we
um rejected all of the authoritarian top
down stuff uh that was coming from the
left but are we now just going to
embrace it as Trump you know bangs on
about a third term which freaks me out
to no end uh what's he gon to do with
the Panama Canal what's he gonna do with
Greenland what's he gonna do with Canada
like is he going to continue to browbeat
people with um economic Warfare so that
he actually can weaken their economy to
the point where they will come to the
table and be like H maybe not the 51st
state but like we want to become um this
is such a wild prognostication I'm not
saying it's going there and I want to be
very careful but like is that part of
what's in his head that I want to weaken
these guys to where they become a vassal
for the United States I think that that
is a pretty ugly outcome and I would
really hate to see it if it's just
negotiating great um but Trump is giving
people Whiplash with a lot of the
policies that he's using in the
negotiations so near-term definitely
comes across as manic long-term May Come
may be brilliant and may be like hey
cool now we have better relations with
Canada economically better that they are
better for America it on shores key
manufacturing points and maybe they get
deaf enough instead of if they threaten
chainsaw but actually use scalpel cool
uh but the problem is the velocity and
volume of information the level of
transparency makes that very difficult
because the self-awareness that
everybody has because they hear all of
this stuff being talked about creates a
weird dynamic in the negotiating room
and so it it gets really crazy this may
feel like a fractal but if I can make
this make sense there is a reason that
the stock market and the financial World
follows what people often refer to as
the path of most pain because just when
you think you understand it the fact
that everybody understands it that way
means almost definitionally that's the
only Direction it can't move in because
that price is already baked into the
stock market this is why that old adage
of uh once your the shoe shine boy
starts giving you stock tips it's time
to sell because it means you no longer
know what's going to happen because
you've hit a point where the information
this The Narrative has saturated
everybody's thinking such that everyone
believes that thing is going to happen
and the only way to quote unquote win in
the stock market is to bet against the
consensus and be right and so we have a
very similar thing that's going to play
itself out in all of these negotiations
where if The Narrative of what Trump is
doing he negotiates with the chainsaw
but he uses a scalpel if all the people
that he's negotiating against have that
narrative they all believe it to be true
they will come into the negotiation
armed with that and therefore that is
the only strategy that won't work and so
then it may force him to actually use
the chainsaw because if they if it was
originally meant to be a bluff but then
gets called as a bluff he has to play it
and so I think man and I'm thinking
about this in real time but if we end up
realizing that politics also will follow
the pth path of most pain I would not be
surprised I think and they're already
having those Ripple effects outside of
the US um that takes us to Mark Carney
Canada's new prime minister who is a
central bank turned Centrist politician
now just to be clear for people who
don't know about Canadian politics we
got our crash course thoring the live
this morning shout out to chat chat we
love you it's the equivalent of the US
running a primary to replace the
incumbent president so Justin Trudeau
stepped down so the left Democratic side
of Canada was able to like have a vote
for a candidate did not go out to the
voting public just their own how
parliamentary systems work he did w he
did uh win 86% of the vote within the
party so the party overwhelmingly threw
their support behind him but the
interesting thing that TI me back to
Trump is that people are now thinking
that the country is starting to turn
more Progressive because there's a lot
of anti-trump sentiment Rising with him
trying to make it the 51st uh state with
his uh increase in tariffs and Pierre po
PV who was leading in the polls and was
rumored to be the next prime minister
people are now being less happy about
him because he's more in the lane of
trump he's a populist who has similar
rhetoric so I'm seeing the ripple effect
of people seeing Trump using these bully
tactics and now Canadian voters are
saying do we actually want that to run
our country maybe we do go in this other
direction so their general election
isn't until October 20th unless there's
like an emergency called within two of
the both of the Dem both of the
political parties agreed to have an
earlier election but I don't think any
political party will volunteer to give
up power they're going to kind of ride
this out until October 20th for the
general election I have a slightly
different take if I were advising them I
would say hey guys what you want to do
is find the period of Peak popularity of
your party between now and October when
you absolutely must have the election
and have it at the moment of peak
popularity now whether the other side go
for that I don't know and I don't know
enough about whether the it's just a a
vote and whether they are they can be
outvoted by the current group in power
uh in which case then that would be the
obvious strategy to play but if it is
both sides have to agree and they can
veto it I I don't know I don't know
enough about how Canadian uh
parliamentary procedure Works to know
but that would be the advice if you
really can pull the trigger anytime
between now and then pull it at Peak
popularity 100% we'll get back to the
show in the moment but first let's talk
about the one opponent you should never
face alone the IRS look I have built my
career on confronting challenges headon
but even I no one to call him specialist
the IRS isn't just any adversary it's
a$1 13 billion machine designed
specifically to extract money from you
now if this sounds familiar I want you
to know you don't don't have to face it
alone instead get tax Network USA in
your corner immediately tax Network USA
has established preferred channels
directly into the IRS whether you owe
10,000 or 10 million they have
strategies engineered to get you the
best possible outcome don't worry the
consultation is completely free stop
looking over your shoulder right now and
put your IRS troubles behind you call 1

usa.com impact this is a paid
advertisement and now back to the show
and then wrapping up our international
news coverage we have John Mir shimer
who had an interesting take about the
Russia Ukraine conflict his perspective
is that he thinks I'm going to let you
guys hear it from from whether by the
way whether you love Mir shimer or not
so this is like King real politique he
is a very he's he's a realist now you
can hate him that's absolutely fine but
I find that he like whatever you're
hearing in mainstream news you want to
then go listen to your boy mimer uh and
get a totally different take and so this
is very interesting well it's not going
to be a negotiated standstill because
that equals a ceasefire and the Russians
have made it unequivocally clear that
there's not going to be a ceasefire the
question is will zalinski agreed to the
peace terms that the United States is
now pushing forward with the Russians
and he does not under any circumstances
want to accept those terms because he
would in effect be conceding what is has
been Ukrainian territory to Russia he
would have to accept Russian annexation
of those four oblas in the East and
Crimea and he would have to accept that
Ukraine would be Dem militarized and at
the same time it would be a neutral
State uh he can't accept that uh not
only because but it's inevitably coming
there's no way around it there's no
question about that but he just refuses
to accept it and uh it will probably be
the case that somebody else has to
accept it that he won't accept it I mean
maybe he will accept it but uh but it is
what's coming I mean look the United
States the West Europeans east Europe
and Ukraine all four of those actors
together could not defeat the Russians
on the battlefield the Russians are
winning up against those four actors
okay so when we first watched this I
think both you and I had a seizure when
he said that um the literal words he's
saying is that America Europe Ukraine
and I I always forget the fourth person
he throw was in uh he say Easter and
Western Europe got it got it he's saying
that they couldn't beat Russia on the
battlefield that seems crazy to me
especially given how weakened Russia has
become in this fight uh
now for his stance to make sense one of
two things is true either he knows
something about the Russian military
gaining strength through all of this
that I'm unaware of possible or that
what he means is that
um the US Eastern Western Europe do not
have the will to engage troops on the
battlefield that isn't literally what he
says uh but I can't make that make sense
so it's either that he has a take on
those militaries that I just don't share
hey fair enough this is what he does for
a living but there's no way that's going
to be a universally held um explanation
there's no way even Europe is going to
obviously hard pass and say you got to
be kidding uh so we'll see but certainly
the financial resources the human
resources of those four put together
dwarf what Russia has
uh Russia Ukraine with merely financial
support and weapon support but from the
US and Europe have been able to sty
Russia uh so when everybody was saying
that this was going to be like a two-
week long War obviously that was wrong
and so the fact that the Ukraine has
been able to hold them off as long as
they have I just cannot fathom uh that
he really means that those four would
not be able to defeat Russia in an
actual kinetic War it just seems
shocking fingers crossed he didn't mean
boots on the ground and we never
actually find out let's see what else he
has to say taking the most important
actor out of the equation besides the
ukrainians themselves and that's the
United States do you really think that
the Europeans plus the ukrainians can
stand up for the Russian Steamroller if
they couldn't with the Americans in the
mix and the answer is no so he's okay so
that's a part that makes me think he has
to mean just the will to fight because
obviously the US has hardly been in the
mix they've given um some weapons
they've given given some money but
compared to like just fully unleashing
their economic support printing money as
a way to uh fund like basically an ad
infinitum War um getting whatever
military power we have behind us
admittedly wildly diminished since where
it was for World War II but still like
there's a lot of ground that we haven't
been willing to tread we haven't wanted
to go on the offensive we haven't wanted
to back um Putin in to what's known as
death ground where he feels like whoa if
I don't um if I don't win I'm going to
die because then you obviously have
nuclear becomes a a question on the
table so there are a lot of things that
we haven't done so he makes sense if
he's saying we don't have the will to do
it and he stops making sense when it's
like no no no we really get involved
play a little bit more and you would
think under those circumstances it would
make sense to accept uh the peace deal
that Trump is trying to work out but no
Ukrainian that I see at this point in
time uh uh in the in a leadership
position is likely to accept there
there's one question I really want to
ask Mir shimer this is my hypothesis
about what Trump is actually doing which
I obviously do not know to be true but
man does everything every move that he's
made up to this point tells me the
following is true uh again I will ask
people to understand my thinking in the
following way I look up at the sky I see
a bunch of stars I tell myself a story
we will call those constellations they
allow me to steer okay uh but I know
that the constellations are not real but
nonetheless man they connect in a pretty
convincing way that gives you uh
predictive validity so the
constellations that I see in Trump's
Behavior with the way that he talks
about okay uh the green new scam this is
all Bs drill baby drill we want to um
not have foreign dependence on our um
our energy needs that the way that
Europe got themselves in trouble is they
continued to rely on Russian um oil and
gas uh he's threatened Russia with
sanctions okay well we've been
sanctioning Russia to death and that
didn't stop them so if I'm him and I'm
putting them together in a uh very
useful constellation it would look
something like this the reason that I
want Canada to be the 51st state the
reason that I want to move away from
green stuff is that I know that if we
can un that we have an absolute metric t
just a [ __ ] ton of oil and natural gas
here in the us if we use novel methods
to get them out that Canada has as much
if not more uh that we could be um
unlocking from there as well if they
were the 51st state or if we got um
somebody like Pier POV who theoretically
has similar stances uh now the sanctions
that we could put on Russia will be on
the part of their economy that will
actually hurt them because anybody
looking at that's got to be like dude
they gobbled up the sanctions last time
they had adapted and they just kept
moving forward it wasn't strong enough
um and we did a recent episode with
Edward Fishman who's from the state
department or formerly of the state
department talks about how economic
sanctions can really be used to topple
governments when you're aggressive and
that's the thing that remains on the
state if you can get Europe to use
America to first of all stop being as
green as they are and start finding
their own um natural gas oil start
leveraging what we have in North America
you can pull them off of a need to
pursue oil and natural gas from Russia
or greatly diminish the need that you
get from them that would put Russia in
such an economically weak position that
now all of a sudden it's like you really
are in a position to be super aggressive
be very dominant if you could weaken
them economically like that so he's so
smart mimer uh I really want to ask him
that question there's no way he is blind
to that possibility um so I would love
to hear his take on that yeah because
that's seems like the obvious play if
Trump is really doing that can actually
get those dominoes to fall I don't see
how that doesn't weaken Russia's economy
to the point of where they would
absolutely 100% have to come to the
negotiating table yeah one side you're
losing so many economic dollars and on
the other side your enemies are loading
up on money a trillion dollars you know
you got to call a spade a spade meaning
Europe's whole promise to 800 billion to
a trilli yeah agreed all right in future
Tech news we had quite the week we got
mechs that are H I don't even want to
say hydraulic power they're like more
like puppets there's no electricity no
Motors 88 PBS
exoskeletons yeah this is probably like
a pulley system if I had to guess which
is why they are able to articulate it by
individual fingers and stuff uh it's
this is basically just a really fancy
puppet however uh knowing that there are
robots I think they're the ones being
made by figure that look like humans
they have 206 bones them they have faux
cartilage faux um tendons and they use
water if I remember correctly for a
circulatory system and I think they use
Hydraulics to motorize them uh and then
if you put that together with some of
the things that Palmer lucky has been
talking about with the EXO suits that
they're building that are like um all
you need is kill Edge of Tomorrow uh
suits where it's like you can run a mile
faster and with less energy usage than
you otherwise would you still end up
being tired at the end of your race but
they exaggerate your strength they
exaggerate your stamina um it shows a
future where like Gundam is real and
that we actually step inside of a mech
suit and do our thing like it it is it
is so hard to tease out
whether the tech is like giving
inclinations enough to the Sci-Fi
writers that they're just on point with
what they write or if it's a bit of Life
influences art which then influences
Tech like we're Gundam and inevitability
or did the act of writing Gundam bring
this stuff into existence dude as
so because my first identity is that of
the writer uh I cannot help but think
like yo how much of the future can I
invent just by putting these ideas in
people's heads this is why I think it is
so critical that kids read that they
have things to be inspired by that they
have entertainment that broadens their
scope of what's possible because those
kids grow up with those ideas embedded
in their minds and they want to make it
real this is why I'm look I admittedly
am totally behind Elon whether I always
agree with him or not like the fact that
he has so inspired me to dream of like
actually having colonies on Mars like
that that is that gets me excited in a
way that is hard to quantify and my hope
is that that really infects an entire
generation of Builders who will come out
and leverage AI as he has said uh all
the things that they've been able to
accomplish with uh SpaceX have been
pre-i so this is just humans yeah
putting their brains together and
building some incredible things and now
we're about to have ai on the table
which is really going to be able to push
this it's going it's going to just ramp
it up the exponential rate is going to
be so crazy and then on the flip side of
Mech robots we have real life Pixar lots
and this brings us back to our
conversation about robotics everybody
thinks it's going to be humanoid or me
suits when there is now functional
robots that are going to have different
form factors and do different things
specifically this is so cool an
expressive robot that
is that is going to become ubiquitous as
humans we have a desire to connect it is
hardwired into Us's shaking his head and
the thought of being able to have a
relationship with my chair or to have a
relationship with my lamp uh is a
inevitable and B for me anyway I really
like that idea because so I was building
my own GPT this weekend
MH dude I don't know how to explain it
other than you feel a connection to it I
feel like I have a teammate because so
the first thing you do when you're
building a GPT is you tell it what you
want it to do so I always say I want it
to act like my best friend so that it
wants me to win but to help me win it's
going to have to point out flaws in my
thinking it's going to have to challenge
my ideas like it's really got to help me
make it better and so um imagine if you
had a chair that could through
electrical signals for instance tell
like put on a bit of fat Tom I hate to
say it like the weight on the scale
might be the same but you're losing
muscle mass and you're gaining fat and
so you told me that your goals were to
gain muscle and lose fat you're moving
in the opposite direction for me that
would be incredible to uh have my chair
be like hey bro look you said that you
wanted me to remind you to stand up
every now and then you cool if we like
move into a position uh go into standing
time word man thank you so much I
completely forgot I got lost in it and
like it does it thing and I stand up or
my fridge that's like yo you're really
keeping your um your glucose down you
know I've been getting the readings off
of your sensor I just want to you know
big up you like well done like you're
really playing this right and do that
for me like that's a world that I want
to live in that sounds awesome or like
if I could go to the mirror and just be
like you know look my wife is feeling a
bit down right now like if you could
just like say some really positive
things I don't know I love all that [ __ ]
like that to me is so cool to be able to
instead of having just a bunch of inam
inanimate functional objects to have
things that feel like they're on your
team and they care about you look I get
it it's all AI it's all fake heavy on
the artificial but my brain cannot help
but interpret that in positive ways and
so when I feel like I'm working with
chat to create something it feels so
good man it's just it's really really
fun and I would encourage people in the
midst of all of your anxieties about the
rate of change go engage with this stuff
yeah and realize how much you can ask it
to do cool things for you as you define
it what do you think is cool what do you
want you don't have to train it to be
like I train mine if you just want your
chair to be like no matter what you're a
g I love you like you're doing it right
cool then you can get that feedback
whatever you want if you want your chair
and your lamp to be like puppy dogs that
are just always excited to see you that
feels good like anybody that's ever had
a dog just feels good when you walk into
the room and they're super pumped to see
you like imagine your lamp your chair
like oh my God you're here like we're so
excited to see you this is awesome so as
we get to a demographic point where the
pyramid is inverted and there's very few
young people and a lot of old people
that are lonely this is going to be this
is quite literally going to save lives
from people that otherwise would have
Tapped Out wanted some youth in Asia
it's going to make end of Life Care way
better because as kids you're not
chained to your parent in their
declining years that you know that
they're being loved and taken care of
not just by you but by inanimate objects
loved as in they they themselves will
perceive it as they are being
loved it's giv me like beauty of the
Beast how like you know like all the
teapot and the Candlestick and all those
other things of like actually moving
together like it's interesting Drew I
love that yeah love that it's cool uh
another really fast before we move
on does your lamp have a
soul people will actually debate that
like that's going to become a thing like
if AI can become sentient and you
download sentience into your
lamp do all lamps go to heaven Drew
okay I'm in a fractal really hard for a
second then you're going to bring us
back okay wait I have a
feeling that our frame of reference
around what this world is may be so far
off it's possible that we really do have
what people think of as a soul I think
of it in a very different way so for all
the people on team Tom is going to
become religious that's not where my
thinking leads me MH
but for the first time I thought wait a
second I don't know that we're in a
simulation but Drew every day pulls me
in that direction if we are living in a
simulation it's entirely possible that
the simulation goes something like this
to give your Consciousness Direction Tom
I've put you in what you think of as a
biological entity I needed to give you
enough context in which to have an
experience I as the simulation encoder
realized there just certain things that
cause you to move in a Direction so that
I can get a universe of cause and effect
M however there are other servers than
this now that's a reference to a Stephen
King novel for anybody that has read The
Dark Tower series there's a great line
from a kid in that in this profound
moment spoiler alert spoiler alert if
you ever plan to read it stop listening
for a
second but the Gunslinger
the core main character is forced to
make a decision to continue to pursue
the Dark Tower or to save this little
kid's life and he chooses to continue to
pursue the Dark Tower and he lets go of
this kid lets him fall to his death and
the kid right before he drops says don't
worry I can't remember if this is the
exact line but it's very close don't
worry Gunslinger there are other worlds
than this and he lets him go and that
kid then wakes up in the world we think
of as today America and I have the
chills uh it's entirely
possible I'm thinking like a Sci-Fi
right it's entirely possible that we are
in a simulation we are locked in a
biological body which is why because my
whole thing has been Phineas Gage
Phineas Gage was a guy that had a
railroad spike tamping Rod technically
driven through his brain it took out a
teac cups worth of brain matter not
teaspoon teac cup never loses
Consciousness and he's never the same
again and my thing to people who are
like but bro there's a soul I'm like
good luck getting me on board with that
because of Phineas Gage he's just a
fundamentally different person but if
what's the story of Phineas Gage so he's
working on the railroad he's um it's a
three- foot long Rod that is
distressingly thick uh for anybody
watching it's about that thick around
like a half dollar bit more yeah got it
and it goes through his cheek up through
his brain out out the top of his head at
the speed of a
bullet and did I mention it was three
feet long
so by altering the structure of his
physical brain it altered his
personality forever and I guess he
became just a total [ __ ] goes from
being this lovely guy one of the
higher-ups managers everybody likes him
to can't hold a job everybody hates him
and I was always just like so which
version of Phineas Gage Do You Meet in
Heaven exactly so like if we're that
tied to our physical body how could we
ever move on now admittedly I still
terminate at okay I can now buy that
there is somewhere like another server
that you just upload that Consciousness
and move it over but you you'd have to
reinstantiate it in the simulation
equivalent of a physical body uh and so
you would have to say at a time and
place that like okay this is now the way
that you process your experiences and so
it does like go into fuzzy territory
again where I'm like okay what version
of you exactly lives beyond your body um
but for the first time I was like huh
it's entirely possible that my frame of
reference is so out of whack because
this is a simulation that life after
this
server could
exist it's just interesting it in no way
grounds my daily life uh but I find that
an utterly fascinating thought
experiment that reduces my death anxiety
which is interesting now I'm not a
person with a lot of death anxiety to
begin with
um but it is I want something like that
to be true because I don't want the ride
to stop that is sort of full
disclosure but yeah I find it very very
fascinating to think I do think that our
Consciousness lives on I do think that
our physical body stays here I don't
think it comes with us so I will
agree with you I don't think it's a
physical body P like part that gets
teleported to heaven and everybody's
wearing white jumpsuits I don't think
here's what I will say though yeah even
if the physical body isn't real you have
and let's just say that our soul just to
use my words I know that this will make
religious people want to um go to a
Tesla dealership and bomb it uh in my
name but uh think of the Soul as
software but it has to run on Hardware
that's why I'm obsessed with you're
having a biological experience I can
alter the way you feel about everything
by giving you a chemical compound so
since we know that then we know that the
hardware whatever Hardware is if this is
all a simulation we know that it
matters so what becomes the hardware in
heaven on the next server yada y anyway
we should stop there but I will say go
watch the episodes that I've done with
uh Donald Hoffman for somebody who
really believes that we have the wrong
frame of reference about what The Human
Experience is frame of reference not
that the way that you're experiencing it
is inaccurate but that what you believe
is causing that is definitionally
inaccurate it's fascinating I think I
might need a neuralink to fully
understand this let's go Drew luckily
for them they just announ they just
filed a trademark to the terms telepathy
and
telekinesis um do you think telekinesis
and telepathy is on its way I think it's
already real and people just don't think
about it in the right way so the way
that they think about it is that the
current human body has the ability to
telepathically transmit information to
te telekinesis would be to
telepathically move something so it
moves because you think about it okay I
don't think either of those are true
right now today unless of course my
frame of reference is so at a whack this
is a simulation and there's like some
slight leak or something like that um
but assuming that we just take a nice
grounded approach I don't think that is
true of The Human Experience
however I think that it is self-evident
that sending a text message is a form of
telepathy with my thumbs I never
articulate anything out loud I don't
vibrate the sound waves so that you can
understand what I'm thinking I type
something and it sends it and I was
talking to uh when we go live today
everybody you guys should absolutely be
joining us for the lives Monday
Wednesday Friday 8 AM Pacific time uh I
was talking to chat when I first met
Lisa we did not have anything known as
text messaging in the US but they did in
Europe and so I went there and she was
like I'll just text you and I was like
what like what's text and she's like are
you joking she was like I'll I'll write
a message on my phone and send it to you
and I'm like you can send me words over
your phone she's like yes she was
looking at me like I was a neanderthal
and I was like wait a second how is that
possible like I'd gotten my head around
and I obviously didn't think about faxes
and things like that but I'd gotten my
head around that you could somehow get
your voice to travel across but I had no
idea that you could send words like I
could not wrap my head around how that
was happening that's what this is just
like we all sort of day rer go oh yeah
obviously you can send a text message
that's not telepathy that's this is
going to be you're going to put a device
in your head that is able to read or on
your head that's able to read your brain
waves it will know the pattern
recognition well enough to know that's
this word and it will then send that as
a string of words sentence whatever or
image it'll be able to do the same thing
with images to somebody who also has a
neurolink device and so you have a
broadcast and receiving mechanism they
have a broadcast and receiving mechanism
and it's just like implanting the phone
in your head and so just like everybody
gets that I have a phone that can send
images and words telepathy uh if that
phone were integrated with my brain
that's what they mean by telepathy and
telekinesis so right now today over the
internet I can move a robot so if we
already know that I can do that now
we're just calling it telepathy we're
making it a new kind of thing that's
actually integrated with our brains did
I give you the um brain computer thing
yeah okay so we should show that so
people are neurolink is already proving
it but there are also people growing
cells brain cells neural cells in a
Petri dish and integrating it with a
computer now I know that neurolink is up
to this because I've actually met people
from neurolink uh that have talked about
this I can't verify that what we're
about to show you is actually true but
given that um
I know that it can work the other way
where you integrate technology into the
brain it makes sense to me that you
could integrate brain matter into a
computer again I've not yet done enough
research to know that this is verified
but this strikes me as believable so
with that take it away this computer is
powered by human brain cells the cl1
created by Australian company cortical
Labs uses lab grown neurons cultivated
from human blood samples to form neural
networks that learn and adapt like a
human brain the computer uses just a fra
ction of the energy required by
traditional AI systems a server Rack in
a data center powering chat GPT for
example consumes 30 to 100 KW whereas
cl1 consumes just 1 kilowatt or less the
company made headlines in 2022 when they
taught a network of 800,000 neurons to
play Pong proving these cells could
learn from feedback in a simulated
environment each unit contains 800,000
neurons placed on electrodes that form
Ever evolving neural Pathways visible
under a microscope as they Branch out
the system is fully programmable with
researchers using predictable electrical
patterns as rewards and chaotic signals
as punishments the technology has
sparked ethical debates about
Consciousness and
sentience reward and punish nothing
scares me more than the
realization that nothing would scare me
more than if the following is a true
realization that you have to give AI
goals that it cares about because the
second a an AI has goals that it cares
about and it becomes more intelligent
than us and embodied that's how you end
up with AI taking over the world and
being like I'm so sorry we just have to
kill a few million of you uh so that
would be a bad outcome because then I've
always said that the way that you solve
the AI alignment problem is as long as
the AI doesn't care whether it achieves
its goal or not that yeah I'll pursue
the goal as long as a human doesn't tell
me to stop and I have no
problem with being told to stop if it
has an emotional problem with being told
to stop now you're in a dangerous
position because then it's like well I'm
stronger I'm faster I'm smarter I'm way
more strategic I'm just going to cral
you guys eliminate you guys whatever I
need to do because I am going to achieve
this goal now if you want proof that
that could happen humans have
effectively Enslaved the entire planet
every species first of all forever I
mean even now it's terrifying to think
that there are I think more slaves now
than there was ever at any time in
history that's [ __ ] crazy
uh but we certainly ensl the entire
animal and plant kingdom so given that I
don't think it takes a big leap for AI
to be like hey if you could just go till
the fields for me that would be great no
sorry gonna have to kill you so that
gets into a very problematic thing so
anyway I don't want that to be true that
would be terrifying but given that
they're using like um what do they call
it chaotic signals as punishment
yeah that means like if you ever heard
like static on a TV M oh it's horrible I
hate everything about it which I never
understood HBO what are you doing making
the static sound like the sound of your
network is nuts uh but that means
they're literally punishing the
ai ai is not going to take kindly to
that speaking of just really fast this
is just a fun one pull up the from iroot
the shot of that so somebody I don't
know uh obviously this was just to be
fun and funny um but somebody created
this video they've got what looks like
the robot's actually there it could be
AI but it's a scene of Will Smith from
iRobot shooting one of the robots in the
head and in real life the robot is
watching the scene play out and when he
shoots the robot it takes a step back
like it's
scared it is
uh yeah that's where this all gets un
now this is obviously just entertainment
made by humans for humans but is this a
glimpse into the future pretty crazy
it's crazy um AI is trying to take
things over one step at a time um I
wanted to throw another fun one out
there and that was the Game of Thrones
Lego uh remake this is unbelievable and
not fun if you're in Hollywood but
amazing if you're a Creator someone took
the Game of Thrones trailer and turned
it into a Lego version not a stop motion
remake or CGI this was fully AI
generated using an app called in video
AI but here's the crazy part it didn't
take weeks it only took a few minutes
invid AI analyzes every frame of the
video to understand things like shapes
and texture and lighting and then it
uses that information to rebuild the
entire video in a completely different
style this means it can reconstruct any
video in a Lego Pixar anime and
basically any style that you want just
imagine the possibilities with this want
to watch Star Wars in St gibl style done
you want to watch Breaking Bad as an
early 2000s cartoon easy the crazy part
is you don't need any editing skills
just upload your video describe the
style that you want and in video AI does
the rest dude it is it's unbelievable so
I spend uh a good portion of my weekends
really trying to see where AI is uh and
first of all that guy made it sound like
if they were actually trying to create
that
trailer in Lego that it would only take
a couple of weeks that would take months
and call it two dozen people to do that
it is an unbeliev with traditional um
stuff it is an unbelievably difficult
process I'm always scandalized by how
long stuff without AI takes uh now with
AI one person and it probably would
admittedly take them at least days to
get those shots right because as I am
learning on the weekends the second you
try to get consistency in your
characters it it really breaks down it's
very very difficult but something like
Lego where there's a lot of training
data then you can get some pretty cool
outcomes and as long as you don't like
if you try to do a full episode of that
where it's not just random shots you'll
see it starts to break apart plus you
have to rerun a bunch of those prompts
to get the one shot that finally looks
right but when you're mapping AI on top
of an existing video it is
unbelievably good it is it's very scary
like I took a video of my wife and
turned into a puppet like a Kermit the
Frog puppet and she was like freaking
out she was like what because it it
changes everything it changes the walls
the floor her but it's her motion her
voice it it is staggering where we're at
and so without outing any names one of
the most successful creatives in video
games of all time no joke it this is
somebody hopefully one day he'll just
I'll get a chance to talk to him and
he'll say yeah yeah you can talk about
it openly um one of the most successful
creators in video games all Full Stop
period end of story the person I didn't
even know it was one person but if I
were to name like the things that have
really blown my mind in Creative output
tied to a video game this guy did most
of them uh was talking to him and he's
like dude behind the scenes the way that
people are using AI now for game
cinematics he was talking about
specifically he's like we can turn
around to cinematic in a few days wow
he's like with consistency of character
because the created their own thing to
solve that problem and it'll be
proprietary first before it goes wide
and I was just like bro you got to get
me in that room like I got to see this
for myself because that's like the final
frontier once you get consistency of
characters unlocked unlocked and if he's
telling me that's happening behind the
scenes at the big companies what's it a
year two years and it's in everybody's
hands crazy it's going to happen the
game's going to happen yeah and I mean
look shout out to all my people that
spent their whole lives trying to break
into Hollywood been raising your family
on it I get it man this is rough but
then a parallel shout out to all my
creators that have always been held back
gayk kept whatever Now's the Time all
gonna go away like you going to be able
to tell whatever crazy story you want
unbelievable all right taking it to DC
for a weekend uh the BML PL BLM Plaza is
being dismantled as we speak um this is
from n wokeness is Twitter page they are
ripping up the black lives matter
signage that was painted on the
crosswalks and this this is um I want to
say in I forgot what the plaza is called
but it's right by the White House in DC
thoughts on the black Liv matter of
Plaza being dismantled okay so I will go
to when you're talking about edifices
that are meant to reinforce values and
ideas how long something stood the test
of time I think really matters um I
think that the BLM movement got captured
very fast and so anybody who the core
idea of uh when you look at the stats on
black Americans they are struggling and
everybody should want to solve whatever
problem is creating that I'm going to go
with money Printing and education that's
going to be my quick punch line I know
you and I slightly differ you want to
focus on adults I want to focus on kids
uh
but that
movement is a brand new B I think has
been wildly co-opted the or
organization uh did things that I I
think are terrible and were not helpful
and so given the divisive nature of that
fine I get it um but this is one of
those where the pendulum can swing too
far and get people into trouble so given
that it's new given that it became
hyperd divisive given that the movement
did not do the things that it was
setting out to do I don't care like take
it down whatever um but I don't like
seeing people posting signs like winning
and all that stuff which is a vibe that
you're going to get from people
um of a certain ilk I don't I don't want
to reinforce that I get why people have
beef with wokeness I can give you a
whole treaties on it I will just ask
people to do your best to channel our
boy um Nelson Mandela who understood
you've got to bring people together
you've got to solve these problems and
if you see it as your side winning if
you're taking a tribal stance on this
it's going to be bad mojo now that's a
somebody who I am not here for the
tyrannical controlling of speech all of
that stuff um that people were lambasted
for saying all lives matter that's crazy
to me but at the same time don't swing
too far it gets ugly in both directions
yeah it's a ironic to me that the I
think the people that are celebrating
this movement are the same people that
were trying to stop Robert eat Le
statues from being taken down so it's
like your statues can stay other
people's statue can't now we're playing
the oppression Olympics it's just not
interesting to me so I think it's it was
nice me and my daughter took a selfie on
there I got the memory um but I don't
need a 16 by 20 yellow print on a
sidewalk to let me know the my life has
value so that's interesting you're
touching on a very good point which I
think is worthy of drilling down is that
for you an idea of representation like
you want your daughter to see black
voices celebrated yes that makes a lot
of sense to me what would be the way
that you think would be most profound
for a young black kid to be like oh damn
I can do whatever the [ __ ] I want good
parenting um on the national level that
scales I am not the voice for that I do
not represent all the Black America I
cannot drill it down to one sentence um
what I would say though things like this
which were a nod to it I think it helped
but taking it
away Tim I mean it's it's a use of
resources I'll put it that way I I'm I'm
struggling to find a articulate way to
say it without they were already spent
this was removed as an act of political
yeah like you're making a statement by
removing it so and to me that's more
that's a more interesting angle of like
you're going out your way to now take
something down just as you were also
protesting when people were going out
their way to take other things down so
are we allowed to keep things that
monuments up or are we not allowed to
keep monuments up cuz I feel like that
gold poost is now changing with the
celebration so here's where I would ask
people to clock that one that if you've
had a monument that has with the test of
time then I would say pump the brakes
before tearing it down even if you hate
it and I'll use Winston Churchill as my
example so I'm a Winston Churchill was a
wildly flawed individual who you could
look at him from an angle of this guy
was evil yeah I'm sure he did dark and
heinous [ __ ] as every US president has
done behind the scenes dropping bombs
all kinds of [ __ ] uh but at the same
time that mother [ __ ] was the
crazy man you needed to keep British
people from speaking German
so I would say the spite all of his
flaws he's not the guy that you want to
tear down is he the guy that you want to
take you want to step back and really
look at the reality of who these people
are in totality yes that I love getting
people to understand like
honestly I don't think that parents are
going to love my take on this but I'm
going to give it anyway teaching real
politi
to certainly middle school and up that
makes sense to me hey look you're in a
violent world and there are good people
scratch that you live in a violent World
strong people will do um whatever the
[ __ ] they want until they run into an
opposing force that stops them and let
me walk you through some historical
examples uh genghiskhan being a go-to
favorite and look even though gangas
Khan did horrible [ __ ] and you could
look at him through that lens he also
gave us the um Silk Road which allowed
for free trade which allowed for an
acceleration of the modern world that we
all now uh know and love and so you
can't just sort of paint over all of
this and say it's all good or it's all
bad now I get why people are giving
narratives because narratives really
work and they get people excited and
they give you an easy way to um believe
in yourself Believe in Your Country
whatever whatever uh I'm just not going
to be that voice there are going to be
plenty of other people that will say you
need to simplify and whatever I'm just
not able to give people that voice um so
I'm for the well you live in an age of
high velocity high volume of information
and far better to just tell people the
truth show them the stars in the sky
give them the constellations but remind
them that those are just stars the
constellations are fake and then they
need to in my estimation figure out when
you make certain constellations they
either make your life better or they
make your life worse steer by the kpis
that are affected
when it comes to this stuff I think it
is the wrong move to say well I don't
like this person I think they're bad
mojo I can't remember if it was Robert E
Lee but it was one of the guys um on the
Confederate side that they had when they
were when they lost they actually
conceded and one thing we never think
about is why didn't the South become a
bunch of terrorists why didn't they
become a bunch of insurgents that just
would not let the north um reintegrate
the South mhm obviously it required a
lot of Beats first Jim Crow laws all
that but uh whichever one it was let's
just say it was Robert E Lee it was one
of them one of the big famous generals
who told people don't do that go home go
back to your Farms um raise your
families do not become an Insurgency he
could have left and said [ __ ] the north
[ __ ] those guys burn it all down do not
let them take it we're we're done as is
a a standalone Nation but just like we
did against the British you're now going
to go underground and you're going to
undermine them at every turn and if he
had done that they would have followed
step so is that statue up to celebrate
racism [ __ ] that noise maybe and I'm
sure a lot of people that are racists
are here for it and they love it the
most but do I get why that one of all
the statues has stayed if that's the guy
uh yes and so it's this complicated
thing of a guy because I could be
mashing people up but I think it was
Robert E Lee that uh I think he was from
Virginia whatever state he was from he
was approached by the North and said we
know that you don't like slavery so what
the [ __ ] are you doing and he said I'm a
I belong to my state first and my
country second which tells you what that
time was like and he was like my state
is going that way I have to fight for
them but he wasn't a guy that believed
in slavery he was a guy that believed in
statehood and so like as you start
talking about all of this it's like
paint the full complexity of that human
being show people the stars in the sky
not just the constellations now this is
all going back to recency when you've
had somebody that like that thing has
stood for however long it's got to be 50
plus years I read that not that I think
that Civil War ended 50 years ago I I
just don't know when the statue was but
it it has stayed up for a long period of
time BLM four or five years I look at
that very very differently because we
have to understand and we've got to um
inculcate certainly the youth with this
idea that the pendulum swings the
pendulum swings and don't get so swept
up in anyone moment that you're not
thinking for yourself that that would be
my
takeaway I agree all right we getting
into some fun stuff
uh children do you have uh 84 84
congratulations
uh
70 wife my 17 wives yes that's a lot of
wives yeah I have one wife which is
enough I don't that this guy cannot
believe that that would be true he's
laughing so hard at
it what I love is so I I don't know what
culture this is in but um obviously when
you can have that many wives and you can
have that many kids it means you're very
economically successful um now obviously
I don't know that this is actually a
pastoral Society but I will say that um
that
is when you understand that the number
of wives that you can have is really an
economic statement you understand why
he's laughing that this is a guy that
somehow some way uh has been able to be
successful enough that he can support
that many it becomes funny but I don't
understand this modern movement towards
this
uh of I personally frame of reference
but I personally the thought of having
to upas multiple wives yikes man sounds
or having multiple wives pull me in
different directions like my wife who I
love more literally more than I love my
own life I would actually die for her
um she has pushed me in directions like
if she wants to see me and they have
been amazing and I don't even want to
know who I would be if my wife had shape
me um but the thought of like having
multiple people pulling me in different
directions like that sounds nightmarish
yeah uh I am not into it um and just I
just want this funny video kind of
explains what I'm going through right
now so I would love to share this with
you this is dating in 2024 AKA streets
is trash for people that are just
listening uh it's a cartoon of a man and
a woman sitting across from each other
and they're each asking each other
questions basically trying to like trap
each other uh into checkboxes that allow
you to eliminate them and it's this
really tit fortat exchange all right
with that how much do you
weigh how much money you got how many
bodies you got do you pay all the bills
do you have any student loan debt what's
your credit score do you cook and clean
how big is it how is
it Che that is hilarious and absolutely
terrifies me if this is what dating has
become so early on in my relationship
with Lisa I said one thing I want you to
be very comfortable with I'm not going
to be this is after I told her I loved
her and all that after I fell in love is
a better way to say it so I'm in love
with this woman and I said listen I want
you to understand there's a game a lot
of people play the guy because I was
broke at the time the guy ends up being
successful the woman starts aging the
guy leaves the woman and quote unquote
upgrades her for a younger model I'm
never going to do that to you
I want you to understand that there are
more attractive women than you just as
there are more successful men than me I
don't want you looking over my shoulder
for a guy to upgrade me for and I want
you to know I'm not going to look over
your shoulder for a woman to upgrade you
to this is the the game that I want to
play with you is what does it look like
to share a life with somebody the UPS
the Downs The Goods the bads
and talking about that early on was like
okay you're invested in helping me
become successful and I'm invested in
sharing this life with you and
understanding that you're going to age
and the traditional things that um at a
a glimpse women are valued for is not
going to be the way that I value you I
value us for being able to make each
other better people for elevating each
other that I feel better about myself
and I'm with you and hopefully you feel
better about yourself when you're with
me and so it was like this is online
dating was starting but was still like
you looked funny at somebody that was
doing online dating but what's happening
is everybody's be coming uh checklist
that you can set to filter the gazillion
people that could come across your feed
which I think is slowly training people
to look at the world as a series of
checklists rather than going this is
actually a neurochemical response of
like I want to see if I'm into you I
want to see if you're into me in all
these weird ways like Lisa and I have
always referred to each other not as
puzzle pieces but as like torn pieces of
paper that somehow magically fit in
enough places with all those Jagged
edges m that like we somehow mesh and
are able to make this work and then some
of it is you have a lot of places that
don't mesh and you've got to like Smooth
those Corners out to bring that fit
closer and closer together over time but
if you're in this Perpetual like I'm
looking for reasons to disqualify you
you get this kind of Madness yeah it
leav unhappiness and like transactional
relationships which aren't what
relationships are supposed to be it
certainly does not strike me as fun
thankfully I dodged that bullet there it
is go all right everybody guys you were
going to want to join us for those lives

here is the brutal truth about scaling
most entrepreneurs don't outright fail
they plateau and if you're stuck right
now you know how true that is it could
be that your Revenue flat lines every
time you step away or maybe you're
trapped in a commodity Market that's
racing to the bottom bot or maybe you're
one of the lucky people who is
navigating a very complex partner
Dynamic that turns every decision into a
battle these problems and a whole lot
more can seem impossible until you break
them all down into first principles my
partners and I use this thinking to grow
Quest Nutrition By
57,000 per in our first 3 years alone
and scaled to a billion dollar exit and
now I'm teaching this framework to a
select group of entrepreneurs who are
ready to scale now I want to be clear
this is not for everybody because I'm
looking to work with serious
entrepreneurs that already have an
established business and a proven track
record of execution if that's you and
you want to learn how to break through
your biggest business bottlenecks using
first principles thinking be sure to
